Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using OGlance ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including free-tier users and paying subscribers.

2. The service

OGlance is an AI-powered tool that generates Open Graph images from URLs. You submit a URL, we scrape publicly available information from that page, and use AI models to produce an image. The output is a visual asset you may use for social sharing, marketing, or any other lawful purpose.

3. Accounts and credits

You may generate one image without an account (watermarked preview only). Additional generations require an account and credits. Credits are non-transferable and non-refundable unless stated otherwise. Subscription credits reset at the start of each billing cycle and do not roll over.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Payments and refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe. By purchasing credits or a subscription you authorise us to charge your payment method. All prices are in USD. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.

We offer refunds within 7 days of purchase if you have not used any credits from that transaction. To request a refund, contact us at support@oglance.com.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use OGlance to:

• Generate images for URLs you do not have permission to use
• Create content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service infrastructure
• Resell or redistribute the service without written permission
• Attempt to circumvent credit limits, paywalls, or authentication
• Submit URLs containing malware, phishing, or illegal content

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, without notice or refund.

6. Intellectual property

You own the images you generate using OGlance, subject to any restrictions imposed by the underlying AI model provider (OpenAI). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and serve your images as part of the Service.

OGlance, its logo, and all original content are our intellectual property. You may not reproduce or use them without written permission.

7. Third-party content

When you submit a URL, we access publicly available content on that page. You represent that you have the right to use that website's content as a basis for image generation. We are not responsible for the accuracy of scraped content or the quality of generated images.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that generated images will meet your expectations, be free of errors, or be available without interruption. AI-generated outputs may occasionally be inaccurate, inappropriate, or unexpected.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OGlance and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim.

10. Changes and termination

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. We may suspend or terminate the Service at any time. If we terminate a paid subscription without cause, we will provide a prorated refund for unused time.
