Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed password. When you generate images, we store the URL you submitted, the generated image file, and metadata about the generation (timestamp, brand analysis). We do not collect payment card details — those are handled directly by Stripe.

We collect basic usage data (pages visited, generation count) to understand how the product is used. We do not use third-party analytics trackers beyond what is described here.

2. How we use it

We use your data to:

• Provide and operate the OGlance service
• Track your credit balance and generation history
• Send transactional emails (account confirmation, receipts)
• Improve generation quality and product features
• Prevent abuse and enforce our Terms of Service

We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising.

3. Generated images

Images you generate are stored privately in our cloud storage (Supabase Storage). They are not publicly accessible by default. You can download your images from your dashboard. We may retain generated images for up to 90 days after account deletion for backup purposes, after which they are permanently deleted.

We may use aggregated, anonymised examples of generated images to showcase the product (e.g. on the homepage examples section), only with your explicit consent or when the image is non-identifiable.

4. Third-party services

We share data with the following trusted services to operate OGlance:

• Supabase — database and file storage (EU region)
• Stripe — payment processing (your card data goes directly to Stripe)
• OpenAI — brand analysis and image generation (URLs and screenshots are sent to OpenAI's API)

Each provider has their own privacy policy. When you submit a URL for generation, that URL and a screenshot of the page are sent to OpenAI to generate your image.

5. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser, but this will prevent you from signing in.

6. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data and generated images are deleted within 30 days, except where required by law (e.g. billing records, which are kept for 7 years).

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email below. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the dashboard. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
